Ah yes, the old Family book. I remember that subheading about wives, called "The Whiners and the Naggers". Not even kidding.
What is the strangest book or craziest book the JWs have ever printed?

Revelation, It's Grand Climax at Hand! The artwork was really crazy stuff. Not to mention, the stretching of prophecies to meet their predetermined interpretations.

"Finished Mystery" book which was almost climaxed by the "Revelation Climax" book. Same subject. Different interpretations. Both discarded.

Overall I'd vote for The Finished Mystery
In more recent history, I'd vote for a 70's era booklet entitled School and Jehovah's Witnesses, which insulted educators in just about every way imaginable.

I wouldn't say a specific book, The WT and Awake magazines had quite a few off-the-wall stories. I remember one story about "Something worse than AIDS", about this JW who was gay and got HIV, but according to them, what was worse was that he got disfellowshipped.
Then soon after I was out I remember some book that claimed that their Jehovah intends to populate other planets once Earth is full in paradise. Don't remember the name of the book.

That reminds me of the 2 apostate books - Treasoning from the Scriptures, and Unsure of All Things. (Alright, that was an old joke.)

From 1920 WT publication "Talking with the Dead":
p. 116 Materializations
"These materializations occur by a power which the demons posess of being able to draw out of the mediums body connected streams of the cells of which her body is composed, and then changing the form of these living cells into any desired appearance. They thus transform the medium into a hideous octopus-like creature, and this is the reason seances occur in a dimly lit room, with the medium in a cabinet, so that the circle of investigators cannot witness the horrible scene as it really is."p. 123 Demons control mediums by seizing the base of the brain
"The cerebellum of the brain is the power house of the body and it is from this center that the evil spirits seek control over the reasoing faculties, located in the cerebrum, and over the whole body."p. 126 Heavenly whiskey, dentistry and manure
"According to Sir Oliver Lodge's book 'Raymond', the spirit world is inhabited by spirit beings who have flesh but do not bleed. They wear tweed clothes, drink whiskey and have manure piles." -

Commentary on the letter of James... because it was the one balanced publication they ever released.

My husband and I studied the family book together while we were dating like good spiritual JWs should. Once we were finished we got engaged. Years later when a work mate of mine was having trouble in her marriage, I loaned her my copy and suggested it may be helpful. *Cringe*
She gave it back a week later and said it had absolutely nothing helpful to say.

I don't know which book was the craziest but the weirdest titles were on those lime green books from the 60's entitled "Things In Which It Is Imposible for God To Lie" and the one entitled "The Nations Shall Know That I Am Jehovah....How?"
The both had titles that seemed like non sequitiurs to me. It was strange to present them at the doors....couldn't imagine what people must have thought when some little kid with a tie presented these to them at their door early on a Saturday morning
