Actually Rachel was almost 19, and Steve was 28. We thought his age made it a good risk for success. And he was such a good catch!!!! (kidding) I think Rachel was born old. She was always much older emotionally, and in other ways too, than all her friends and other kids at the KH. One of the teenagers once said (when she was 6) "Rachel is 6 going on 16".

Um, thanks? This does not mean I'm 33 going on 43 however. I'm pretty sure at age 30 I started to reverse age. She always says I was almost 19. I was a good solid 18 1/2.
