Sheesh.
I got 8/10. I missed the liberty bell question and the one about where the first capitol was located.
If anyone answered Betty Crocker for the flag question...
9/10 - You answered 9 out of 10 questions correctly. You are a true American. Long wave the red, white and blue! Happy 4th of July!
I'm a true American! Not bad for an Aussie, huh! LOL (I got the first Capital question wrong)
Hey, Robyn, I'm as American as you are!
who is Betty Crocker by the way???
who is Betty Crocker by the way???
She bakes cakes...
10/10 - Congratulations! You answered all of the questions correctly. You are truly a patriotic and knowledgeable American. Happy 4th of July!
Not bad Francois. But I still think my score is marvellous, considering I'm an Aussie with an anti-American upbringing. I actually rang my mother last night to tell her how an American website had declared me a "true American"; she acted like a good Dub mum would react to a son saying he'd been invited to one of Christendom's churches... LOL
steph,
how comes you know crap like who made the first US flag??? impressive!
I watch a fair amount of US TV, Realist. I also have a pretty good memory and an interest in all things historical. As for the first US flag, I can remember an episode of Peabody and Sherman from when I was a kid, where they use the Wayback Machine to visit the flag's creator.
Do the US citizens find it strange that we who work for American companies in the UK celebrate independance day? We had special food laid on etc today for it. The first year we did it, I couldn't get my head around what it was all about and now I work for another American company.
???
