I grew up going to this assembly hall. So many memories. One of the best being Curly Watts from Coronation Street driving past in his convertible Mercedes during lunch. Cheshire No 2 Circuit.
Lost and adrift

They did have a donut making machine for a while which was hypnotic to watch.
Oh those donuts...the smell...1 of the things I miss the most about the place 🤣
I seem to remember serving a dinner into somebody's lap one lunch time oops!
I remember about 1980 they were doing it up and me n my school mate went alone to help out...we were out on the roof terrace and she still remembers to this day a creepy brother trying to grope her 10 ye old self😱😱
