My sisters don't keep in touch much, but I think it's due more to laziness than not wanting to associate with me.

I think this could be true in many cases with some who mistake it for being shunned. Sometimes a phone call to someone who is shunning you......and telling them your calling just to say I love you and miss you.........can open many doors that some think are closed.
Sometimes ex-dubs are the lazy ones.
