Actually we will be remembered just as we are .

Unless a person can change their normal function's, and builds a reputation on those changes ......they will be remembered for who they were and as people saw them.

I can't believe the examples used to prove Jesus' sense of humour! It's embarrassing to think how stupid I was for going along with this stuff, just nodding my head and parroting whatever crap spewed out of Brooklyn . Thank you for that review, I admire your courage in actually reading through a whole article. It's only been a little while since I've disconnected from the borg but I just cannot bring myself to peruse any of those articles, not even for a good laugh, I just start feeling bad for those ones still there who are just like I was; I truly hope one day they see the WTS for what it is.

They do this time and time again:

Start an article with a really interesting question or scoop and then totally ruining it before paragraph 4.

A good review BTW... That part they wrote about humor and jesus was weird...

    ROFL That was hilarious.

It's just so irritating...I just discovered last night that one of the misconceptions I learned from being a JW (that now I'm going to have to take the rest of my life to unlearn, thankyouverymuch) is that you have to be giving to be genuinely happy. I mean you have to be entirely FOCUSED on giving and anything else is selfish and can't make you truly happy. Euphemism finally made me realize that that's a LIE...I still have a hard time internalizing that I can be happy just doing what I want to do in life and not being outwardly focused.

I've been working so hard at being a giving person my whole life that I've been neglecting my best talent, art, and I just learned that, actually, all Jehovah wants for me to be happy, and if art makes me happy, do it. Or whatever your career is. It's not selfish to do something you enjoy for a living! Arrrgh, stupid Watchtower people.
