Well, for some reason I was up extra early today, understand I am night person and usually sleep to 11 or so today I was up at 9 and decided to take the dogs out before it got to hot outside. I hadn't been gone 3 minutes and as I came out of my street onto another I bumped into 2 JW's (females) getting out of their SUV.
They said hello,
I said hello,
they asked do you have a couple of minutes
I said sure what's up.
Let them go through their entire presentation mainly about how bad world conditions are, and that God will change things. They then offer the magazines to me.
I ask how much,
they said no charge, just we do take a donation to cover the printing.
I say donations must be good if you are driving a Cadillac Escalade (what are they $60,000 - $70,000).
I hand her a dollar, (the look in their eyes was priceless.) and take the magazines.
She then asks if I have read them before,
I say no not really, but I will read them to see if there any any articles worth posting on the JW Discussion Forum Board.
She asks what is that.
I say it is a helpful internet site for JW and XJW's who have questions that the elders and society refuse to answer. Such as Un scandal, Child Abuse Scandals, Billion dollar a year profits, constantly changing doctrine, Fascination will calculating dates from the bible to suit their needs such as 1914, 1925, 1975, and soon, parents who shove the religion down their kids throat and give them no choice or disown them. Do you have kids, would you do that to your child.
she says well I guess you not interested, so I will take the magazines back.
I said no, I'll keep 'em, besides you have to pay for your SUV.
She says well it's not like we're not allowed to make a living.
I say, well if Armageddon is soon as the assembly brought out, why do you need a brand new SUV.
How can you lie to people and sleep at night,
well they were flustered beyond belief, got back into there SUV and drove off.
It was just one of those days when I opened my mouth, all the right things came out !!!!!!!!!
Do you think I will get a return visit ?????????
