Anyway to meet xjw's in toronto area?

  Micheal, I wonder how it has been since you posted this thread?

  My guess, it's not as easy as one would think.

  Remember: closer the ex-JWs are to Bethel (Georgetown, ON.) the more spiritual they are (not my quote); more JW thinking still working overtime with many of them, paranoid and still playing BY THEIR RULES. The Toronto ex-JWs are an interesting lot to put it mildly.

  If you've met any of them: congratulations!! You deserve a medal.

  There are a few really cool ones, and a few that'll meet-up with you regardless of any on-line meet-up forum or not. Some will state that it's not necessary to have a meet-up on-line; good luck if you meet even them. Scared, paranoid, and still playing the JW game IMHO.

  A couple of us are heading to the very OUT of the WTS Detroit group, at the end of this month.

  Hoping you're okay Michael - and yes - there are a few REALLY cool toronto people - i think if you actually met a few of us here in Michigan, you'd feel alot better. We have in our "group" ex-bethelites, ex-P.O.'s and 1 that was a pretty big "heavy hitter" in that organization. You'll find a lot of support and probably some very good REAL friends, not ones that will turn their backs to you because you no longer "believe" the same thing about God.

  Give it a try Michael - I think you'll be glad you did.
