I'm regular Army now!

Well... the deed is done. I have been accepted into the regular Army and with some good news!

As most of you know my main concern was getting Ft. Hood to begin with. Well..... I got it!

I also wanted to stay as an MP or in a combat MOS if at all possible. Well... I am no longer an MP but am now a Tanker! 19K all the way! w00t!

The only downside to all this is that I dont go to basic until December!
Ohhh well..... I cant have it all go my way.

Oh yeah! And I got to keep my rank and got a signing bonus to boot! lol

Well.... a tanker does not neccesarily drive the tank. I might be a side gunner or the driver... I can be a myriad of things but it will involve tanks though.

I will more than likely start out as a driver though. That will be fun and since it is a combat job.... my rank will go through the roof, which is what I wanted anyhow.

I deal with the army quite a bit, in maintaing the M-1's and Bradley's. I hope you can take (no clostrophobia) small spaces......man Iam a big guy........

I have nothing but respect for the guys that manuevered and lived in those babies out in the desert for weeks!

He has served with the U.N. Peacekeeping initiatives abroad for several years.
