If this were the "quality" of the comment from a member of one of the churches of Christendom, JWs would rip it to pieces. But because he is one of their own, they consider it a fine answer.
So sad .....
Jws don’t believe that snakes and donkeys have ever “talked”. They believe there was a supernatural force manipulating those animals.
Annnnd... thats different how? Its BETTER to believe that animals were used as puppets by supernatural beings? In the end, Whatever the means they believed they talked.
They also don’t believe Jonah survived purely by natural causes.
citation needed. I’ve never read that. They claim that god prompted the fish to swallow him, they never claim at all that god kept him alive. In fact they often cite some bogus not true story about a modern day fisherman who is supposed to have survived a similar experiance.
Be careful not to superimpose YOUR explanations on the organization.
The real reason for serious alarm by JWs finding hints of reality in scientific accounts-- is that it could be true, Heaven forbid!
If the org is actually found to be wrong it would mean a life-changing emotional upheaval, like a ton of bricks falling on the doubter.
Much easier for a JW to stay in the cocoon-- so the conditioned response to secular sources being right is to bury your head and ignore reality. That is "Keep taking the cool aid".
After all, this is what it's like being in a religious cult . . .
If the truth contradicting his belief system makes him depressed, he better get his Prozac prescription updated, as the truth is everywhere.

Talking donkeys, talking snakes, living inside a fish... impossible!
God did it!
Ah, that explains it.
The simple fact of the matter is that the WTBTS gets it wrong 98% to 99% percent of the time......... about on par with the Bible............ So do most other religions.
Only those religions that stay silent on the interpretation of delusional teachings are in line with their special....buddy....pet.....God (call him Jehovah if you must) who is silent about everything hence all of the worthless translations trying to explain what he or she or it is saying. This would be funny if it wasn't so sad and so dangerous.
He can't unknow whatever it was he now knows, or unthink whatever it was that he thunk.
Chances are it was at least a correct explanation of what evolution actually *is*, rather than the"if we are descended from monkeys so how can there still be monkeys?" school of evolutionary theory.
