If the elders are so impartial and fair, howcome Witnesses are deathly afraid of confessing their sins to them, even though God knows already? Is it because, instinctively, they know that God is kinder?

Thanks, little witch. Over the years I have actually talked with some of the "writers" if you can call that cut and pasting writing. At that time I was pursuing a journalism degree. I even saw the room where the GB meets every Wednesday and lay their hands on the manuscript of the new WT and pray over it ().

Just to think I put up with this type of junk for 47 years. I have had my doubts about these Cretins for many years, but because of family, it was very hard to break away. Thankfully my wife and I and our 2 married daughters are all out of the borg now. I was even an Elder for 12 Years, and it certainly is a goody goody club. I hated it when an Elder would really slag of a poor Brother in an Elders Meeting, and then at the next meeting he would be slapping him on the back and chatting and laughing with him, as if he were is best friend. The hypocrites in that rotten organisation are terrible, and they really are the 'evil slave' who beats his fellow slaves.

Fortunately my wife and I are now born again Christians, and what a difference we see in the love shown to one another. If a person in the fellowship has a problem no matter how small or large, they will all pray for them. We are so glad that Jesus is a kind and loving King, and not a hard task master as the borg keep claiming he is. We are saved by GRACE NOT works, and we have had enough of guilt trips being placed on our shoulders all our lives.

That is one mantra that the WTS can't see to get rid of, that anything we DO can EARN life. It is a GIFT. The WTS fails to realize that Jesus paid the price. Of course, the WTS says they are the channel to God, so they already have tried to take Christ's place.

It is nice they talk about love but just like everything else they have no clue.

Reaper: It is nice that you saw through it and got your family out. After such a long time what a decision to make.

It is nice that your children take direction from you as it shows they truly show respect for your authority.

See, if we truly raise our children the way we were brought up to raise them they actually do listen to us.

Typical of the WTS, that they instruct their followers to make uninvited visits to the worldly to preach to them as a method of looking for the good in others. If the WTS really were Christ's body, they would be all mouth - no ears, no eyes.
