As you associate with Jehovah's organization, you will find the atmosphere very different from that of temples and churches. There is no soliciting of money, no backbiting or quarreling, and no discrimination because of family background or financial standing. The most outstanding quality among Jehovah's Witnesses is love.

what is interesting about the above post from the official wt site is the fact that they did not make any leeway, instead they matter- factly stated that there is: no backbiting or quarreling, and no discrimination because of family background or financial standing

now why not say, we try hard to get rid of these views, we are a work in progress, this is our goal as a people, o no , instead they just FLAT OUT LIE

    HOW SAD

Did you expect anything else ?

Time and time again this kind of flase quote appears inside the pages of the Watchtower. They make me sick with their lies... it's sad that thousands of people fall for it year after year.

We can take stregnth from the fact that we have discovered this course of lies and have escaped the Watchtower, JT.

    Sickening.

They are also lying about not soliciting for money. Lately, they have gotten very agressive. At the District Convention, every announcement gave detailed instructions for donating. As well, have you ever been present when they are soliciting funds for a new hall or other project? Pledge forms are handed out to everyone, and it is expected that every person will pledge something.

As time goes on, their financial begging is becoming indistinguishable from the rest of Christendom.

Remember, the organization is very legalistic... they believe that once they put something on paper it magically becomes true... kind-of like their new light.

Since my fade, I have not experienced the vicious backbiting and quarreling that was an everyday fact of life in "the truth". My yrs. as a pioneer were full of constantly listening to nitpicking and gossip. Used to wonder if it was me? Never had that problem at school or work, though. I chalked it up to imperfect human nature for years but got tired of the verbal abuse and seeing the verbal abuse of others. Sheesh...I am SO glad to be away from that!!!!!!!!!

There probably is a bit of truth in it. but...

Its applies to new ones only. The JW have always being extra good to newly interested ones, because they can count their time with them. So if someone does come into the K/Hall they do put on an extra nice face so that maybe someone can start a study with them or at least count their time with them. They may visit them at their home to "encourage " them, but its only because they can count their time. When I was pioneering they wouldn't let me visit even the sick elderly at their home because I couldn't count my time, if I did vist them then they would drive it into my brain the fact that I couldn't count my time. After someone gets batised, then they are on their own, all the 'loveling' people are gone now, now the back bitting starts and so now....

As for the loveling Elders, well they will soon find out how loveling they really are. Yes, once your batised and become one of them, its a different story.
