In my neighborhood alone, they are in front of the supermarket, in front of the health clinic and they set up in at least two locations on the avenue along the beach.
There is a shift towards this type of preaching. Everybody wants to do it, and why not? Who wants to walk around getting doors slammed in your face, when you can simply sit down next to a card and look at your phone for a few hours. Urgent work never been so easy.
It's easy enough to go with 4-5 blokes, take all the lit, make them move on, then toss it i the trash when they leave.
According to baker :
.............and what the nuns are not allowed to say :“except the Cardinal-Archbishop's one, which is always pointing north”
Funchback- the local JWs had a booth at last year's fair. It was a pretty sorry display. A table and display stand with some mags and tracts and a screen behind it playing some dumb video with sound you couldn't hear. The JWs on booth duty just sat in the back, not talking to anyone but each other. I only saw one lady go up to the booth, pick up a mag, realize what it was, toss it down and walk away fast.
Ask them if they know the expression "theocratic warfare"?
Lets see if they forget it as well as Jackson and Toole did during the Aust Royal Commission....
I have to ride past a cart on my bike every wednesday and the same old vinegar tits sister that persecuted me at the hall sits there pretending she doesn't see me. I thought of taking a longer alternative route, but then thought screw em I 'm not going to let them dictate my day.
Cart Witnessing...........soon to devolve into Fart Witnessing.
Sharing in this initiative has been very rewarding. One couple wrote: “Standing at the table and seeing thousands of people go by each day has impressed upon our hearts the vast work that is being done to reach people all around the world. Seeing these masses of people and thinking about how Jehovah truly cares for each person has strengthened our resolve to continue putting the preaching work at the center of our lives. We imagine Jehovah scanning the hearts of all those who pass by the table, searching for those who are worthy. We have rarely felt so close to our angelic coworkers.”
Thousands of people go by each day...but does anyone stop? They really live in their fantasy world. Maybe people's hearts can only be scanned when passing the special magnetic field surrounding the cart?
That's so silly.
