Memorial observance screwery.

Had a thought about the memorial observance that is held at the kingdumb hall every year.

There are a few YouTube videos of people partaking of the bread and the wine and then making some grand speech before being escorted off the premises.

Instead of that, has anyone tried getting a group of buddies together and when receiving the bread or the wine, just eat or drink it all? Just empty the plate or the cup. And if they have extra and refill the plate, have someone else in another row do the same thing. Have friends pickled throughout the hall that are willing to empty the plate or the cup.

Now I imaging that by doing so that person would be escorted off the premises, so there would have to be a few people sitting throughout willing to do it.

    I don't know, just a thought.

It would prove their fearmongering is accurate, that the apostates are trying to infiltrate and make trouble. My non-jw cousin invaded the KH during the memorial with friends from his church. 30 years later jws still talk about it.

In the back of my mind I was thinking that. Anything to bring on the persecution complex the dumbs have would be counter productive. Although I would love to see the look on their face if they couldn't complete the memorial because of a lack of bread and wine.

why not just drop it on the floor and see what happens.

Or just sit quietly in the middle of a row and sneeze on the bread and lick the rim of the wine glass as it passes buy.

But seriously...even after all I've been through as a result of being a JW, I'm not a big fan of entering into a place of "worship" and showing disrespect for someone else's occasion. Seems like they should be able to say and do what they please within their own walls.

Having said that...once they approach me, come to my home or are in a public place and ask me a question or try to interfere with my family.....it's go time.

You could just bring a guy friend and hold hands, but quite loudly break up at the end for the sake of your Christian values.

The JW website actually invites guests to attend the memorial and leaves the impression that they can participate. Then when they come, they can't partake? Is some kind of an announcement made?

This is one of the strangest doctrines I've seen in the faith. If one quietly partakes, what happens? Do people watch to see who's partaking while it's going on? If I went, would anyone make any attempt to stop me?

Or, if I were part of the flock, what do people think? I'm holy? Crazy? If I'm a faithful JW, do all my pioneer work, study and gain respect in the congregation and take it quietly and humbly, am I afforded more respect than others (If they believe I'm legit)?

If became a JW, I'd sure go with the anointed class. Can anyone even envision living in a terrestrial environment for a trillion years? Or two trillion? I'd much rather have the resurrection that would allow me to traverse the universe and be like God Himself. (As John said, "we shall be like [God], for we shall see Him as He is." --John 3:2)

Yes, people watch to see who is partaking. They're fairly obvious about it, too.

    Fodder for later gossip sessions.

I can think of all kinds of amazing things to do to unsuspecting JWs.
I always come back to, 'why'?

It's a wasting of time, the way I see it.

Think back to how you would have reacted.
I'd seen and heard many apostates before I'd awoken to TTATT.
    It had ZERO effect.

I second kairos, I looked at all apostates as nutcases and it had no effect on my beliefs at the time, plus just disrespectful. I allow JW's to believe what they want without trying to influence them, as I don't want them pushing their beliefs down my throat either, even thought I used to be one.
