Cold Steel, from what I have always understood, a child will have the same fate as his or her parents. If the parent's are righteous and JW, they and the children will survive Armageddon, if they are wicked ( aka myself) the children will perish along with the parents. Sick thinking no matter how the society tries to portray it. Can anyone cosign on this?

the watchtower cult is full of batshit crazy old women. the poster's mother sounds just like my first mother in law. a completely brainwashed looney. but that was 50 years ago. shes long gone. but her daughter picked up where she left off. and so it goes on....

Deuteronomy 18:20-22: "“‘If any prophet presumptuously speaks a word in my name that I did not command him to speak or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. However, you may say in your heart: “How will we know that Jehovah has not spoken the word?” When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word is not fulfilled or does not come true, then Jehovah did not speak that word. The prophet spoke it presumptuously. You should not fear him.’"

Nothing there about a sincere heart...

Thank you for sharing this! I haven't marked this down before now.

Well Moses did actually say NOT TO LISTEN TO FALSE PROPHETS, but my experience is that there is truly nothing that you might say that would get through, she's totally indoctrinated IN A CULT, my whole family is so I empathize :(
