A fictional, composite tale of many true elements from a city called Bostronno.
A young family man from a devout JW family was swept away in the late 60s by the enthusiasm to be in paradise by 1975. It all started at a book study with some very sincere and serious bible study members. He turned his branch of the prosperous family business over to his brothers, and searched for a place to serve the rest of the old system's time out- in comfort and where the need was great. Frankly, he wanted to avoid the panic scenes of Armageddon disasters pictured in the children's books of the Society, so he picked as a suggestion to support a struggling congregation way up north.
Build a comfy getaway place on a lake, boat, and all. Then, early 1072, a winter storm paralyzed the region, just as their supplies of the means to limit their family size, -- ran out.
9 month later, on Oct. 4, 1972 at about 12 am ***, sister 'quiet needgreater " delivered baby unplanned.
Later, after 1975, the family sold all these assets and moved back to Bostronno, strengthened now with the hope that comes from endurance and the realisation that Armageddon was now even closer, and resumed their normal lives. Enjoyed many occasions, like when Br. Franz came to give special talks in sports venues rented for the occasion, letting unplanned talk to him, and kind of bless him. The weddings that Governing Body members attended, to be with extended family members, friends they had made in Brooklyn while at Gilead. and
The many memorials, with the full moon shining on the family, as their elder father enjoyed the late get togethers, even savouring the leftover partaker's wine and crackers.
Young unplanned became an early true and profound believer, steeped deeply in the highest aspect of the faith, and developed a desire to be part of the top of it. After his baptism in about 1988 at ~16 and finishing high school, fulfilled the family's ambitious pride to apply for Bethel, and being considered. In the meantime he also had developed a sincere desire to partake. Not just in secret, but officially , expressing publicly his aspiration to move unreservedly to the top service privilege.
His Brooklyn time was cut short however, about 2 years after Br. Franz's death in 1992, when he got married and his wife was not considered as a bethel member. Great beauty does not always also mean spirituality.
Br. unexpected, is now 45, raising a family, is prosperous, fondly recalls the great memories, the smells of bethel, the occasional meetings with the dear old members. He is battling his midlife crisis, though holding on to the partaking and the upward call.
He realises now that he is one of the overlappers of the anointed generation, and, that if he hangs on, like his "good genes" grandmother and father, -- will live to 2075, given the very healthy life and stile he had.
He is in no hurry to quit this fine life, and reflects on the many sheep that will yet be saved until he and his generation will go to their reward.
