My point is that as you say sir82 and others, that the failure of its primary intention to correctly announce the end of the world, despite its raging commercial success; means that it is now just a tax free business scam called JW org. It lacks all credibility and legitimacy.
Therefore: JW org please pack your bags, sell up and remove your harmful cult OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH...

Vidiot, yes surely a successful doomsday cult would get the dates right... but as we know doomsday cults like JWs are by nature perpetually "close to the end". That is tension which attracts new paying members to join isn't it?.
It amazes me how anyone can trust anything they say when from the start everything they have taught has proved meaningless or wrong?
What legitimate role are they able to play after failing in their main objective of end of world mega-death in the 20th century?

Yes Vidiot, the key lesson is to keep your doomsday cult always on the boil. Don't whatever you do look to a date which will expose the lie of your raison d'etre.
Just keep the promises to the forefront along with donation obligations and argue that "God can never let you down" (emotional scam).
Of course with modern technology it is easy to re-write and sanitize your own corporate history and claim JWs never said 1914, 1925, 1975, or end of the 20th century.
Make it a disfellowshipping offence to read the WT history!

Anyone with half a brain, that has taken the time to research the society from it very beginnings has to know it's a scam, to many failed prophecies and so much deception to even be close to Gods true earthly organization. The top brass knows "truth" is not what there selling, but how do you release 8 million sheep into the wild? How do you come forward and admit it's all bullshit? The abstaining from blood deaths were for nothing, the military cards and the imprisonment for rejecting military service, nothing. Nazi concentration camps for nothing. How do you come forward now with so much blood shed? Its better to continue with the hope even if its a lie, then to come forward about the truth and expose your self to lawsuits and massive suicides for those lost sheep.
