Bob Dylan has been awarded the Nobel Prize in literature. I wonder if they'll let him sing at the ceremony.

Huh. Times are indeed changing. A songwriter wins the Nobel Prize in literature...
Maybe Armageddon is coming after all.

I saw that when the Cubs advanced to the NLCS. Even a snowball may have a chance in Hell. . . . . Doc

Yep, I heard that Kanye West has also been nominated for the "dopest rhymes" category of the Nobel Prize....

Actually, I don't see why a song or poem cannot be Nobel prize worthy. He's not the first person known primarily as a musician to win the prize in literature for poetic expression. In 1901 Sully Prudhomme won the prize for his poetic expression, in 1913 Rabindranath Tagore won for his poetic expression in music and in 2004 Elfriede Jelinek also won the prize.

You can read many of his songs as poems, his primarily known for his lyrics.
Well deserved IMO
