Its strange. In UK there was no publisher increase, yet they had a 2.25% increase in new congregations. Can anyone explain it?

In germany since 01/2007 until 12/2015:

322 congs merged to 161 (language-congs and normal congs)

6 new regular congs

2 new signlanguage-congs

121 new language-congs (!)

Waiting for new numbers 2016, should be a very interesting.

But main part is: they close congs and merge congs, but you don't see it in the statistic, because of new language-congs. But the language-congs build of normal publishers and build of 20 person or so. So the downfall in the numbers is higher then you think. So I think, that's there way to fix the statistic, build more and more language-congs.

Nearby also one cong was merged lately, more to come.

The expansion is certainly not in Britain. The % increase box in the annual report was left blank in the recent yearbook. Last week, a video produced by the Britain branch was shown to congs in the local needs slot. Paul Gillies claimed there is a need for 157 new KH's and 213 refurbs. I believe this is either mendacity or sophistry, or both. It was stated that the "work is speeding up" but no actual evidence to augment his surprising figures! No reasoning was presented, not even specious reasoning! Quite shameless!

Nicholaus, could the "new KH's include replacement halls because they existing ones are too old or decrepit?

Londo111, evidently new light on the 'speeding up' work indicates it is refering to the increased rate of leaving the organization.

The 'work is speeding up' could mean any number of things but it probably means that since there is no money allocated to do anything the number of projects that need doing are increasingly stockpiling.
