The first part, 'you don't have all the facts', I've heard fairly often.

The second part, 'I'm not in a position to tell you what I know', sounds very JWish to me.

Kate, yes I'm kidding! My family, especially my in-laws, are extremely secretive. It irritates the heck out of me. They make me feel like I'm prying into state secrets when I ask "how are you doing?"
