  You just missed the boat with your comment. Others have already highlighted that the message should be about police brutality and not about race baiting.

  Will there be anything wrong with someone holding a banner that says "Stop trying to kill 75 year old white male"?

  Would it change the message if the movement carried the banners "My life matters"?

  As Minimus stated, they want the police eliminated. They want something like “The Purge” to be the norm. Read about it, they want the police defunded.

  I hate to wake people up, but Police brutality happens to all races. There is a way to solve it. Eliminate or drastically reduce your encounters with the police. How? Don’t break the law, don’t walk around in a hoodie looking suspicious in 80 degree weather is a start. This is not about race like the dumb fucking media is selling.

  No I wasn't looking for domestic violence. I was trying to find examples to show that violence is across the board. Domestic violence is horrible though. I know a lady who suffered the most terrible injuries and fear. What happened was, her friends rallied around and enabled her to escape because they cared about her. Her life certainly mattered to them.

  Also she had the wisdom to grab her chance and get out of an abusive situation.

  Reminds me of one sister telling me constantly that if I didn't want to let my dog sleep in bed with me, then that meant that I don't like dogs. Just because I SAID I love dogs, and put water out for HER dog on a hot day when she neglected that little detail, didn't mean anything. The overriding factor was allowing dogs to lay right next to me.

  Who made her the authority with the right to decide which actions had what meaning? Which is what I wonder about all varieties of social movements.

  Who gives individuals the authority to decide and proclaim who is a racist and who isn't, based on nothing but their own preferred assumptions. One woman told me I have no right to speak, because I have never been abused just because of the color of my skin. Well how does she know that? And why would any assumption of hers be a valid reason to deny my right to speak? She is just going to decide that I'm a racist.

  What would PROVE me to be a racist?

  Having respect for others is good but if your sense of self worth is so low that you put others on a pedestal, you need know how precious and loved you are. Your life matters, A LOT whoever you are.

  eradicate police. I was driving through a nearby town and they had a blm group with signs saying get rid of the police. I gave a thumbs down to the crowd and they went ballistic screaming BLACK LIVES MATTER BLACK LIVES MATTER. It was quite funny watching these “woke” people flipping out.
