Attending college? That should not be an offense to get deleted--particularly if it's your child(ren) attending. They made their decision--so why are the parents being punished?

The biggest trap of college is the debt. If you are planning on going, make sure you have a plan to pay off the debt or to pre-pay as much as possible to reduce or eliminate as much debt as possible. Otherwise, this debt can and will ruin your life. Also, are you going to college for 4 years to wash dishes? Too often, this happens even in the world. Research is the key here--obviously, if you can attend college with little or no out of pocket expenses (such as scholarships), I see no reason why one should refuse those scholarships and not go to college.

You know Jehovah's Witnesses and the WT Society are seriously messed up when they put viewing pornography , committing a serious " sin " and attending a university or college as the same " serious " offenses. This cult is terminally weird. It could never be redeemed if it tried.

Re debt comments- not correct in UK student loan repayment more of a tax most all never be repaid. No repayment until wages hit 23k then you are looking around £50_75 a month hardly going to ruin anyone. Dont count against you for any other loan except in terms of affordability. Don't be caught up in scare mongery about student debt its all rubbish.

Ridiculous. Especially when they put out calls for special workers at Bethel or building projects, etc., where they need engineers, lawyers, or dentists or other qualified professionals to do some free or grunge work for them!!

The more iI dig , the more I can’t stomach it. The GB talks out of both sides of their “ arses “ - this is designed to put maximum pressure on those who take “ the lead “ - in turn they can put maximum pressure on the followers - who then can eventually put maximum pressure on their kids , the studies , etc. Brain washing at its finest - this makes me so mad - that’s why I don’t want my kids part of this damn cult. And the hypocrisy in these instructions needs to be addressed too. The WT Society has PAID for many young men to get a law degree at colleges to become WT attorneys in their legal department- yet rank & file JW's can't serve as a ministerial servant if they get a college education ? Then WT leaders will try to claim " Oh, that's different. The young men getting law degrees are going to college for " kingdom interests " not bettering themselves personally . " Makes me want to puke. WT just sends these guys to college to become attorney's to fight child abuse lawsuits . Real " kingdom interests " . Yep. Sick
