I am so sorry - deep breaths, focus on your wife. I hope everything turns out ok.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Sitting next to a hospital bed wrecks me. All the memories with my son. Now my wife. It's difficult not to get mad that my family can't even send a text message. She is doing a little better now. I broke down at the hospital tonight. Hoping the worst is behind us.

Sorry to read of this distressing situation. As others have said; the well-being and health of your wife is your number one priority.

Let your mom take of the children and kudos to her.

Ignore the other family who shun you.

Poor you Azor, I do hope that your wife's condition improves soon. Good on your Mum, ignore those who are ignoring you in your difficulty. All the best to you.

No words can alleviate your anguish. I just hope your wife makes a good recovery and loses the pain quickly.

Don't waste your mental faculties on the cult-members' attitudes if you can help it. They're not worth the time.

I am so sorry you are going through this, that must be rough. I hope you are over the worst and things get better from here on out. At least your mom isn't shunning you also, so there's that.

This us the point where you ask people for help, whoever you can, in whatever capacity they can help you. Friends, neighbor's, co-workers, most people want to help, they just don't know what to do, so don't be afraid to ask, they can only say no, right?

    Hang in there.

    Good advice, LisaRose.

Sorry, Azor...this is a case where we find out who our real friends are, but we have to let them know how they can help us.

My husband had heart failure young, survived but it was a long scary year....no help from jws and sadly not from his non-jw family. But people at work and his non-jw friends from the past reached out as did our neighbors, one neighbor mowed our lawn until the snow fell and started again the next spring. Our workplaces were generous in letting us take time off and made sure our work did not pile up.

It's been 13 years and he is out of the woods, a miracle baby his cardiologist calls him.

As someone else, said we find out that these other people weren't or friends, in name only.

    Love, Blondie and Irreverent

It is sad. It should not happen anywhere in ones life. Hang in there. It is good to hear your wife is improving. Hugs!

Sorry these things have been happening to you and your wife. Sorry that JW families have no sense nor compassion. A shout out to your Mom she must be a great compassionate person.

Squeeze your wife's hand for us...... tell her there's a large group who care.
