Talk about the kettle calling the pot black, I now look at the WTS as the ones who are apostate and all those on the outside as telling the truth. Those 8 buffoons have no clue what they are saying or doing. Whatever the WTS says is truthfully a lie.

Be like the Beroeans referred to at Acts chapter 17 and verses 10 and 11 Let’s read that. Acts 17:10,11 “Immediately by night the brothers sent both Paul and Silas to Beroea. On arriving, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they accepted the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily [carefully examining the Scriptures daily] to see whether these things were so.”
Now, Paul compares the Beroeans with the Thessalonians. What do we know about the Thessalonians? They didn’t have YouTube in those days, but at one point, the Thessalonians apparently heard a rumor that “the day of Jehovah” had arrived. Who circulated the rumor? An apostate? Maybe. But maybe it was just someone who had heard the rumor and passed it on without checking it out.
Have you ever done that — passed on a report without checking the facts? I think all of us have to admit that we’ve been guilty of that at one time or another. But now, how did the Thessalonians react? They were alarmed. They were “quickly shaken from [their] reason.” We mustn’t let that happen to us. When you hear something, check it out; don’t just circulate it; don’t just believe it; check it out.

That's great advice David...all active JW's should listen to and follow that!

I made a sacrifice, and read the Transcript. Of course there is just so much that is wrong with all he says, and others, no doubt Lloyd Evans and those on Reddit will have dissected most of it. So I won't bother to do a phrase by phrase analysis.

But one bit struck me as just plain silly. Well more than one of course, but chiefly the bit where the Interested person is to be warned off from even reading the stuff On-line, then the JW is supposed to encourage them to associate with the Congregation, suck up to the Elders and the C.O etc, and then "you will see that what is said is not true".

If the Interested person has NOT read the "accusations" how Da Fluck can they determine they are not true by doing as advised ?

I used to be disturbed when I was an active J.W that they never spelled out what these "Apostate Lies" were they spoke about, and showed where they were false, WHY NOT ?

Because if anyone actually does what Splane advises, and PROPERLY Fact Checks these supposed lies, the JW org would be exposed as the Liars they are !

Splane's talk just tells me that they are monitoring this site as well as Reddit and whatever other forums there are.

Oh sure HappyDad they have for years, what is worrisome to them is that sites like this expose the truth about the organization and the men who started it and control it today.

There is a notable fraud going on in the JWS, has been since its inception, unregulated corrupt charlatanism is the core cause.

In a attempt to whitewash over its past, the GB heads today are creating new lies to cover over the organization's past lies.

It all sounds so Christian doesn't it ?

HD, yes, and the issues are not about scandals but doctrines. because all organisations have the pedophile component, even the boy scouts. so it comes down to doctrines, and they have conceded, no contest.

" the issues are not about scandals but doctrines ", yes, they don't want any of their teachings exposed for what they are.

But also, they don't want JW's to be aware of the extent of their paedophile problem, and the massive Court costs and Compensation payments, as this knowledge has woken some up on its own.

D.S. : "You get involved in the forum, and you blow off steam, and after that, you feel better."

FFG: as the man said, "let off steam." keep it up, steam cleaning the wt

then, when all the fluff is gone, with reality laid bare, you have a foundation.

What Splane was saying in all of his talk was that true devoted followers of the organization should hold up and support all doctrinal activities with diligent unwavering faith.

.......and Jah is watching that your doing that

What do you call people who forcefully make others do things to protect themselves and maybe the organization they head from legal punishment for their activities ?

Remember when the Org made the order for all congregations to destroy all printed information about certain members who may have committed pedophilia ?

    Rocketman123

One must remember and keep in mind the reason the WTS did what they did in such a irresponsibly way in situations of pedophilia within the organization is because the bible told them what to do, such as were there two witnesses, did the accused admit to the act, if not then well they should leave the matter in Jehovah's hands.

Some did admit to the act and were just DFed temporarily.

The victims were pressured to not go to the law authorities about the matter because that would essentially bring reproach onto Jehovah's earthly arrangement, so most didn't.
