Satan Hurled Out in 1914 - Will They Say It Was Never Taught?

WBTS rewrites/carefully edits their own history. Since 2005, I have been through a lot with with WBTS. Recently I came across a suggestions that they will start denying that they ever said Satan was hurled out of heaven in 1914.

In my experience, it is one doctrine many ordinary members are clear about - you ask them what supposedly took place in 1914 and they'll say, "Satan was hurled out of heaven, therefore World War I started."

I can't guarantee that they will rewrite this doctrine but, if you have relatives who are PIMI and hold firmly to this belief, why not ask them (if they'll talk to you) how they would feel if WBTS denied ever saying Satan was hurled out of heaven in 1914. Especially if they start blaming the rank and file for making it up - or maybe they'll blame Jesus instead. Who knows.

Anyway, for reference here is one place where it is clearly stated:-

    *** w04 2/1 p. 20 par. 10 “The Scene of This World Is Changing” ***
So Satan the Devil is the guilty troublemaker, and his ouster from heaven in 1914 has meant “woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”—Revelation 12:10, 12.

how they would feel if WBTS denied ever saying Satan was hurled out of heaven in 1914.

They would just nod and go along with it just like all the other "New Light"

Oddly enough the Great War (WWI) was expected by world leaders for decades, and started months before Satan supposedly was thrown from heaven.

    Huh.

That is called the preemptive strike doctrine.

They also said: sat down on a table for peace talks, security that is.

Saying it in the first place was bad, denying it will be worse.

Yes the WTS has been connecting WWI with Satan being cast down to earth.

The reality is humanity based upon the percentage of the global population was more warring prior to 1914 in many various countries.

As well there were more famines , pestilence, earthquakes and all the other signs of the end times.

So we can see the WTS was trying to support its previous created doctrine concerning 1914.

Why did the WTS proclaim that Satan was cast down to earth that year ?

Because they claim Jesus took to his heavenly throne that year.

Try finding Biblical support for that proclamation.

A teaching that will not be changed.

One of the major linch pins that if gone would end the religion.

They'll change it and say, "Our adjusted understanding on this matter is that Satan and his demons were not ousted from heaven. Rather, they merely overlapped with the humans already on Earth."

There will not be any major change in their teaching, it will just not be spoken/written about anymore

They can milk that doctrine by declaring the attempts by Bezos and Musks as Satan's minions trying to squirm out of the earthly trap.

Ridiculous, seeing the planet as kind of a holding pen, until the Chaing into a better facility at Armageddon, and the a release again on this planet.

    A comedy, cosmic comics.

Religious beliefs can certainly create delusional mind twists can it not ?

But what you can see from this doctrine is that the WTS taught something that they shouldn't have concerning setting specific time dates.

Even Jesus condemned his faithful followers into doing that.

But then again the WTS had a internal agenda and that was to attract people to the literature the organization published.

Unsuspecting individuals accepted these teachings as truthful and accurate interpretations supported by bible scripture, a few did realize that they were not.
