"an investigation is shooting with a cannon on a mosquito" ...this is inappropriate, it's religious persecution of a minor group who has tender sentiments towards victims of an insignificant number of such little perpetrators.

Its time to protect mosquitos before unjust "Persecution!" The mosquitos among us are just like other insects, bees e.g. elsewhere. They are not more dangerous at all!. It would be laughable to criticize and doubt gods loving plan in the creation, which includes our latest invention: jehovahs "Mosquito Protocol" ( a compilation of our efforts to protect children within our community) before mosquitos, our warmheartedly mosquito net.

Only a “handful” of cases? Oh, well alright, that’s different! What a bunch of arrogant assholes...

It also bears repeating, when the WTBTS ignores, or misunderstands the danger of child predators within, they put “worldly” children at risk. Why on Jehoobities’ green earth is this issue not being addressed??

I don’t even recall the ARC bringing this up. If I’m wrong, let me know. It just seems like a HUGE issue given the rate of recidivism among pedophiles. The Dubs give zero f***s about children.

ARC Final Report for case study 29 states on p.65, 66, 68,69:

It shows a failure by the organisation to recognise that the rule will more often than not operate in favour of a perpetrator of child sexual abuse, who will not only avoid sanction but will also remain in the congregation and the community with their rights intact and with the capacity to interact with their victim.

    [...]

As discussed in section 7.6, on the basis of the evidence before the Royal Commission, we do not consider that the precautionary or protective measures available within the Jehovah’s Witness organisation are sufficient to protect a child victim of sexual abuse or other children in the community when the child victim is the only witness to the abuse and the perpetrator does not confess.

    [...]

Since it is the policy and/or practice of the Jehovah’s Witness organisation not to report allegations of child sexual abuse to the police or other authorities other than if required by law to do so:
    • if a known abuser is found to be repentant and for that reason is merely reproved, the abuser remains at large in the congregation and the community
•if a known abuser is disfellowshipped and not otherwise dealt with by the authorities, the abuser remains at large in the community.
    [...]
Reproval and disfellowshipping are not effective mechanisms for protecting children in the congregation and in the broader community.
Note: in these quotes 'community' refer to the community outside JW, as for the JW community the word 'congregation' is used.

Like it was the case with the Australian victims now the Dutch contacted professional lawyers. This was for the Mosquito paradise organisation the turningpoint to end the phase of constructive consultation. The org has a Sound protocol and would never sue anyone for anyone in brotherly fairness. Therefore - How could erring victims go to lawyers is not understandable. Now what remains for them to use sound mosqito warfare strategy is in place. Hiding as invisible congregtion members, sucking and attacking.

The governments are exegarating. Abusers are not such a big problem. P.S. mosquitos are according to the press release the exemplary for abusers in the organisation. Misbehaviour should not be criminalisized but soundly protocolized as sin. The apostates make a giant problem of it.

    Oh, gosh, no.

Jehovah will bless them for their firm stand against the agents of Satan's World.

Actually, RV is making stuff up. Are the 301 each verified by court/police evidence? When did these alleged abuses happen? Have they proven each case was known by the organization and covered up?

All this matters when you are accusing people.

If they are relying on the organization to release their files so they can have this proof, then they have no proof to begin with. Thats their problem, and their burden.

The JW reply is a good reply, unless the government can prove any of the things alleged by RV.
