"The form alright is a one-word spelling of the phrase all right. Alright is commonly used in written dialogue and informal writing, but all right is the only acceptable form in edited writing. Basically, it is not all right to use alright in place of all rightin standard English.Feb 18, 2015"

Interesting. To me saying it is "alright" means the pamphlets are ok to read. "All right" would make me think every pamphlet is correct with no fallacies.

This is what is misleading about cults: outsider doctrine vs insider doctrine.

Outsider doctrine is very benign by nature. People are easily seduced by it.

I agree with one comment which told the writer to go back to journalism school!

I'll say this for the guy; he's not freaking the f**k out when he's shown where he's wrong and/or misinformed.

I actually want read the follow-up... it's not often a journalist writes a rebuttal to his own piece.

Anderson: He promised to write another article pointing out how the JWs misrepresent their religion in their literature.

    He has written that article.

Jehovah's Witness Pamphlets are extremely misleading

Amazing what a little bit of research can do.

This guy's rating of the JWs has significantly dropped.

Combined anecdotal and academic evidence therefore both points towards the conclusion that the JW's act essentially like a reclusive and secretive cult. I can't, in good conscience, really see the JW's as the "good Christians" anymore. The JW's are manipulative, coercive, and sly. They are not "good Christians".
On a scale of Christians from 1 to 10 (with the Westboro Baptist Church ranking as a "1"), I rate the Jehovah's Witnesses as a "2".

Good man. A rating of "2" would seem about right to me.

Jehovah's Witnesses are probably the bane of most peoples' existence, including many people I know.

Really? Someone knocks on your door once every year or so and that is the "bane of most people's existence"? They come so often that people are really waiting with their loud rock music or porn (?) ready to play to scare them off (they can't just say "not interested") or they go to the trouble of decorating their entire garden *just* to keep JWs away (even though statues of Buddha would have zero effect).

Right off the bat it doesn't seem very realistic or accurate to me. It actually all sounds kind of invented.

But still, even if true - talk about 'first world problems'. "OMG, someone called at my house and I had to say 'sorry, not interested'. I don't know how I survived".
