JW said they are unique

Looking at a news article, I read the following:

“That’s one thing that’s unique about Jehovah’s people,” said Marty Mettler, a spokesman for the Green Bay convention. “They even tell the hotels when they book they’re coming because some people book and don’t show. When the Witnesses book, they’re going to be there. If they’re going to be full, they’re going to be full.”

I'm getting tired of how condescending they are with others. You cannot say that Jehovah's Witnesses are unique because they don't cancel unlike "SOME" others. This means that most people do show up and don't cancel, making JW like most people; not the exception. They're not the best, they just keep repeating it to themselves over and over until they take it for granted.

Anyways... just thought I'd share this.

I am currently sitting here watching the news. Each day I see stories of evil "worldly people" that are trying to help others that they don't even know. People that are collecting items or money for ones who have lost everything. The JW's act like they are the only ones who assist others. I have come to the conclusion that if they came out of their cocoon they would realize there is good and bad everywhere. There are good JW's and the not so good JW's. This applies to the world in general. They can not and will not look beyond the JW world they are involved in. I truly believe it is an obsession.

My husband got another little reminder that most non JWs are good, giving people. When driving through a fast food the car before him paid for his order, he told me he was so surprised, and then he paid for the car behind him.

I reminded him this sort of delightful thing has been happening off and on for years. We just only occasionally hear about it.

Hopefully another little seed planted....

Worldly people and those in Christendom ( l get the impression that we are even worse than worldly people lol ) are always doing things to make the world better , they just don't boast about it .

Just for the record l have never booked a hotel room and not turned up . How good am l ?

Yeah, yeah, and JWs in some African countries cross croc infested waters to get to an Assembly .... but so does everyone else there because that's the only way to town from the village. ☺

JW`s lack normal Social Skills/Etiquette.....And..

Have To be Told How To Behave in a Hotel/Motel..

1)..Don`t clean out the complimentary ice chest before you go to the assembly..

Other hotel guests need ice too..

2)..Don`t clean out the continental breakfast room,so you have food for the assembly..

Other hotel guests want breakfast too...

3)..Don`t pee in the pool..

Especially From The Diving Board..

If Witnesses are so unselfish, thoughtful and different why is it that EVERY year the WTS has to remind people not to behave like arseholes at hotels and the convention site?

Why is it they now have a made a "monkey see, monkey do" video to show the gormless hordes?

Why is it they have had to allow the elderly and infirm in 15 minutes earlier to prevent the dangerous and unseemly rush to grab seats?

Witnesses lack the part of the brain that would help them see that their self-praise means sweet nothin' to everyone else.
