Anyone hear of a Derek Gertzen? He was a CO that was fresh out of Bethel a few years ago and now is DF'd...He was my CO when I was still in and he was an awesome person. No idea if he woke up?

Yes, WT has been getting rid of men who have those qualities for the last 50 years, just not the "company man" that they are looking for. They need somebody tough.
I hope Derek has a parachute of some sort or marketable skills.
