Its one thing to not agree with some things Trump does. Heck anyone with a brain will never 100% agree with anyone on every thing. But this Trump derangement syndrome has ticked me off for the last 4 years. I have a brother who is well educated. [I have said many times you can be well book educated and be very stupid] and all he can say about Trump is the most basic stupid insults. Never actually saying anything of substance on a point or issue. Heck I was ticked that Trump banned Bump stocks. I thought that was a knee jerk reaction and if you know how guns work you know that you can accomplish the same thing with a few rubberbands. But as I have said for myself in several posts this guy [Trump] actually does 90% of what he said he was going to do. Name me one pres. in the past 20 years who has done the same? Reagan is the only one I can think of off the top of my head and for those old enough to remember Reagan was called many of the same names and criticized for being old, addled, a war monger, unsophisticated. History shows this was all liberal press lies and fake news. Now they actually use Reagan as a way to try to show how bad Trump is by saying Reagan was a good pres. LMAO Really? Remember All in the Family? When Mike the meat head moved to Canada and a commune because Reagan was going to start WW3? So many dumb people who don't think for them-self. Trump was not my first choice for a Republican candidate but he was far far better than any the idiot Dems put up. I felt so strong about it that I bribed my wife to vote for Trump.

Frankly, I can't be bothered with the bullshit anymore.
If you can't control your disease, then I'll do it for you.

Simon...When I was around 10 years old, my friends and I would play baseball with our friend Billy. Billy had parents who bought him a catchers mitt, first baseman's mitt, outfield and infield mitt, bat, ball and catchers gear.

Most of us would use his equipment to play baseball because our parents wouldn't buy us any equipment. If it wasn't for Billy there would be no baseball game.

We would be in the middle of a game and see Billy's mom walk over to the baseball field and tell Billy that he needed to come home and eat lunch. Billy would take the bat, ball, and all of his equipment and go home to eat lunch. The baseball game was over.

Since you control the board, everyone should play by your rules. Just like good parents know when it's time to stop all the fighting and commotion in the house, you have every right step in and control the situation.

I certainly don't recall the same lack of diplomacy and the derogatory, insidious, noxious, posts, from conservatives during the 8 yrs. of roughshod horror of the Obama/Clinton administration. I know I finally posted re/not voting for the Clinton corruption horror. Posts may have been a regular occurrence from conservatives - I don't have confirmation nor did I consider myself one. Some of us tried desperately to look for the positives, including liberal friends - Dems for their entire lives who cancelled attending the Clinton rally before the event was cancelled due to lack of interest in a liberal state.

Facts/track record of politicians/leaders is critical - a beautiful thing contrary to the deception/fabrication of the controlled state/fake news. What an expense the power/swamp mongers have been to the American taxpayer. It doesn't matter to them - they walk away multimillionaires. Monies could have fed/housed the entire planet or used for science enhancing lives. Such greed.

Not to forget the bullying from at least one person onboard here - I don't recall verbatim but 'they aren't putting up with this/that' or 'no one talks to them that way'! What the hell are you going to do about it and we WONDER HOW ANTIFA came about from such deleterious, volatile, bullies. It all makes sense -- amazing the lack of dealing with situations in a legal, humane, manner. Where was this behavior learned - yep it all makes sense.

Adding to Cofty's comment...I expect that if Trump gets reelected, as I hope and anticipate, we will see cars overturned and burning in the streets of America.

Here's hoping I am not a better prophet than the WTS.

Politics/government very important to many humans (and should be) but info/facts should be presented and debated for each of us to learn, grow in knowledge, to be responsible citizens re/voting.

I think Simon should do whatever he has to do - he and moderators read it all and know the negatives. People are passionate about politics and religion and by nature have our hand-me-down prejudices, delusions. Unfortunately, it takes so much research and time to present the facts and life is so busy for many. We've learned much about religious corruption, the gods and science on this board - amazing! Political science, current events, politicians in general should be no different but bitterness seems to rule. I get it, however, if the subject is nixed.

Trump is a coarse man. He had a oversized and ego. But he seems less owned than any recent president.

In the present crisis what would we expect from any one else

Either roosevelt, truman, Eisenhower, pick your favorite then try to figure what they would do. I am at risk, but my children are in danger of not paying rent or mortgages and losing a home; that is also a subtle health threat.

    ROAD TO NOWHERE:

It is useless speculation and fantasy to wonder about what some other past President ‘would have done’ in this Coronavirus crisis - whether better or worse!

    We can never know this.
