BUT, what caught my eye was the "social isolation." This is one of the things that got some Utah elders branded by the state as abusers when they DF'd a minor. Isolating her from her friends and family as a punishment from the church was seen as child abuse. And that's in Utah, a very difficult place to see any government action against a church/religion.
They have denied the WT, on a per- member basis, the price of a deli lunch sandwich each month.
After the local branch alerts the Norway members of Satan's attack, somehow I think they will come out ahead. Oh, and they may still win on appeal. If Norway is smart, they higher courts will see in precedent set as destructive.

Adultery, crime, alcohol and drug addition are Not uncommon among witnesses. Depression is common. To assert otherwise is an utter fallicy. Elders do Not alert the congregation or report to police when they become aware a JW commits a crime, especially child sexual abuse. It’s in Chapter 14 of their *secret* Shepherd The Flock rulebook.

To assert that witnesses are immune from terrible crimes is demonstrably false. Also the use of anti-depressants is common among rank and file Jehovah's Witnesses Including Bethelites. Former JW Bethel nurses spoke about this.
While most religions have programs to help people in need Watchtower does not. When disasters strike Watchtower uses volunteer witnesses to help with free labor, to rebuild witness homes, before helping anyone else.
They do not help shunned JWs. They must reply on other Churches. Many Churches were surprised at the number of active Jehovah's Witnesses they help due to Watchtower's failure. Kingdom Halls keep no community storage with necessities to help individuals in need. Witnesses have spoken out about the surprise they felt at finding kindness demonstrated by “worldly" churches when their own faith did nothing.
When Watchtower does help rebuild houses, it bills the Insurance companies to recoup the costs of rebuilding. They also bill insurance for labor, despite the fact that there are no labor costs. Volunteer JWs receive no pay. WT pockets this as profit.
Authorities have encouraged Watchtower to set up a 24 hour free hotline for JW victims of sexual abuse. The other religions agreed to do this. Watchtower has consistently refused. Why? It is known Internationally that Watchtower is especially dark in attempts to cover up child sexual abuse for Decades. WT keeps an International Database of JW Paedophiles and known victims. They have consistently refused to turn it over to authorities even when heavily fined into the millions of dollars. If WT was concerned about Jehovah's name, this would not be the case.
Drinking is also common at Bethel from the top down. So much so that Bethelites are also assigned to smashing liquor bottles so garbage collectors are not aware of the of the level of alcohol consumed.

Many child abuse advocates want to see Watchtower lose it's status as a charity until it changes it's “2 Witness" rule for child sexual abuse. And when it actively reports accusations of child sexual abuse to authorities.
