New Zealand looks nice, apart from the volcanos and orcs of course, but we're in a pretty nice spot here in Alberta - a nice view of the Rocky mountains about 30 minutes away, winter isn't too harsh and summers not too oppressive, low crime and oil rich (once we get rid of the Trudeau's anti-pipeline liberals or WEXIT).
I guess if I was retired and could afford it, a nice cabin on the other side (in BC) might be nice.
There are parts of Europe that always look spectacular - France for instance looks amazing from the Tour de France helicopter, but I don't know if I'd want to live there, just visit. Same goes for Italy.

We live in N Central Florida near Ocala and Gainesville. The winters are great but come May the heat starts and doesn't give us a break until October. I hate the heat.

Beautiful scenery, wonderful people.

"Maybe I just need a vacation"
Based on your post count, I assumed you'd been on one for the past 17 years.

Maroochydore in Qld. Aus. on the Sunshine coast and not as commercialised as Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast . ( Or it wasn`t when I was their many years ago )
We used to holiday their quite a bit
Other than that I would choose Coolangatta on the border of NSW and QLD in Australia.a beautiful area ,come to think of it that would be my first choice as you are so close to the hinterland as well.
Another place where we spent many a holiday.

@ Rubadub “ When you mentioned "in the world", I would rule out Europe (too cold for me) ”

The Italian lakes especially Como or near the Pyrenees in France, the Languedoc area. The only trouble is both areas have boiling summers and freezing winters. They're gorgeous in the spring though.
I was thinking the same Fulano, Greece and Italy can hit the forties in summer. Too cold for you Min?
