It's been years since wearing a skirt or a dress. Like 21 years ago. My mother thinks I'm a TomBoy(like a 50 some yearold) Little does she know!!!!<<<<<G>>>
I hated wearing them all my life. In jwland was'nt any better. I had 3 outfits to wear. You never see me in a dress in between times.
I was'nt sad to see the panty hose go either.
My one fear is if I die before my mother that she'll put me in a dress!!!!!<<<G>>

I have never understood that one either. Here in the south that is not allowed. In the very cold countries, sisters are allowed to wear snow suits. I have some very nice pants suits that I wear to work. I don't understand why I can't wear them to the hall. If you do wear pants, which I have before, someone will come up and ask something to the effect of "just get out of work" implying that you didn't have time to change into a skirt. I hate skirts because if you don't wear pantyhose your legs stick together and pantyhose are uncomfortable. So it is a lose, lose situation.

i live in skirts...sans pantyhose, that is...i didnt mind the skirt thing as a JW...what i minded was that i had to wear a dress that covered me up from top to toe...i got in trouble one time for wearing a sleeveless dress to the assembly in the middle of august! ugh and my meeting dressed were always downright ugly so as not to encourage vanity...frilly and floral-patterned...i looked like an eighties nightmare. these days i opt for short and cute and i'm perfectly comfortable. :)

I say wear a skirt but no panties! After a few "showings" they may beg you to wear pants! LOL

I've noticed that some of the ladies in our pub have taken to wearing SKORTS in the hot weather.
They're basically shorts (not cullotes) with a small flap running around that gives the illusion of a short skirt.
..I must confess it's the only time that I have ever seen a lady lift up her skirt and been disappointed.

I've noticed that some of the ladies in our pub have taken to wearing SKORTS in the hot weather.
They're basically shorts (not cullotes) with a small flap running around that gives the illusion of a short skirt.
..I must confess it's the only time that I have ever seen a lady lift up her skirt and been disappointed.

Pioneering in EauClaire, WI we wore pants in service and to meetings. We were out in service in minus degree temps and we weren't supposed to wear snow pants (unprofessional) . I like dresses and skirts, but I confess I wear jeans or shorts most days.
