Do Jehovah`s Witnesses believe the 1,000 reign of Christ Jesus began in 1914 ?

If not ,why do they claim he took up his power to reign as King in 1914 ? Do they claim that ? Or is it that he has only returned awaiting for god to give the throne to him.?

If so why is jehovah God taking so long to do this ? Why the big gap in years ?

If they do ,then WTF has he been doing this past 106 years ?

If neither of these options is the case ,then what is the third option ? That he is not a reigning King yet but is awaiting for Jehovah God to destroy this system of things during the Great tribulation and Armageddon.?

And only then does he take up his kingship and start the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ.

Some things don`t seem to add up but I can`t put my finger on it ? with JW`s beliefs about this.

Mat 24 says that the good news of the kingdom will be preached before the end.

Jws take that command to mean to preach the "kingdom of 1914. " they sing that in their songs. The "kingdom reality" , it rules now.

To them, the 1000 year rule is a mere continuation of what started in 1914. and then

There is going to be another transition, when the kingdom is beeng handed back to the source ~ 1055 years from now.

In this article from 1969 they reference several verses from Rev. mainly Rev.20:4-6

Verse 6 says "they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years"

How can this not be the millennium started in 1914?

He has been busy bringing in 8 million followers, and prime real estate in most countries of the world.

Also, he has been providing enough fodder to keep this site running. Just imagine, if he had brought the end 30 years ago, most of the users of this site would have ended up in paradise.

WTS Jesus sure take his time and waits patiently. Bible Jesus was around AD 33 given all authority on heaven and earth and was about to judge and rule over the world. Jesus said no one knew the time but also that "this generation" of his day would not pass before it happened
