Favorite show: 1. Labor day weekend 1982 Us Fest in San Bernadeno: The Police, Talking Heads, B-52s, Oingo Boingo, The English Beat, The Ramones, Gang of Four

2. General Public October 1984 Kabuki in SF (the show had this intamate small club feel like the good ole days at the Mabuhay and a Mutants show.

3. Day on the Green Sept 1983 in Oakland, CA: The Police, The Fixx, Thomson Twins, Oingo Boingo, Madness

4. November 1984 at Henry J Kieser in Oakland: U2

1. 1982 The Clash opening for The Who

2. Septeber 1979 Zellerbach Hall UC Berkeley: The Clash and Bo Diddly

3. November 1979 Warfield SF: The Police, Steel Pulse, The Specials, Pearl Harbor and the Explosions

the "S&M" concert - Metallica with the S.F. symphony in 1999. It was awesome

Bob Dylan and Santana--TOGETHER. It was such a groovy time, even the cops were passing joints!

My fave was a tie between the Pixies and The Violent Femmes...

I also saw Iron Maiden / Twisted sister when I was 14. It was hilarious!

Wish I'd seen:
Had tickets to see the Stones with Van Halen as opening act (their first tour) in N.O. LA. 1978. My car got wrecked so couldn't make it. No one wanted to buy the tickets either. ;(

I wish I had seen David Bowie and NIN when they were touring together.

Favorites - Traffic (1970), Led Zeppelin (1971), Springsteen (1978), Santata (3 times), McCoy Tyner (1979).

Wish I had seen - Pink Floyd, Dexter Gordon, and Van "The Man" Morrison.

Worst Show - Bob Dylan (all smacked up circa 1978), as well as Johnny Winters, Dr. John, and Leon Russell all in the same condition (various years).

Torn between two favorites: Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue in 1975 and Harry Chapin at Smith College in 1977. Both were incredible evenings.
