Jehovah's Witnesses Called At My Door

The OP posted one of these before and it sounded just as contrived and ridiculous as this one. Look, if he's telling the truth power to him but I don't think he is, it's like he sits down and writes out a script that's totally unbelievable and then copy and pastes it here for commendation or attention. We all know Jehovah's Witnesses don't let you question them for very long before they sidetrack you with some off topic question or pretend they don't understand your argument or make up a lame excuse like they got to get back to the car.

Let me just come right out and say what I'm getting at: I don't believe this actually happened. Hell, I'll say it even more directly: this didn't happen.

John.Prestor - Yes I have just looked over his history on here, and have come to the same conclusion

My first reaction was also disbelief. Even the most spiritually "weak" Witness would have never engaged in and capitulated to so many subjects at one time. It just sounds like a fantasy. Great information, but unlikely scenario. Great for lurkers though.

@OP, you have done a fine job.

You are also lucky that the JWs at your door are humble enough to pause and reflect. Many other JWs, would simply deflect, deny, and tell you to go to JW.org.

I had the same feeling. It sure seemed smooth, very smooth...

      1. the OP remembering exactly where to turn in the KIngdom Interlinear Translation (p 23).
      2. remembering the name of the Catholic monk who devised the pronunciation of 'Jehovah' and the year he did it (Raymundus Martinti in 1270)
      3. knowing instantly which scriptures to turn to (Eph 4:4, Luke 1:19, Rev 7:15)
      4. having the presence of mind to work Bob Dylan and The Beatles into an illustration.

Most of us would have to have pre-studied carefully or used detailed notes to present this. Oh well, maybe the OP has a photographic memory that is called into action when there is an unexpected knock on the door.

It actually reminded me of some of the experiences presented by Watchtower in the publications, which are often just to much to take literally, even though they are much less detailed than this.

ScenicViewer, maybe Andre needed to get his time in so he just just listened to the OP defend his thesis. Seriously though, it sounds like something out of Awake!

I asked the boy which answer he would choose. He chose answer #3, opening the pamphlet to reveal the following quotation: "All scripture is inspired of God." (2 Timothy 3:16, New World Translation)

"All scripture is inspired of God." ...said every human who wrote something that ended up in the Bible.

This is like the 3rd time the op has presented a witness scenario. Good points op, but you don't have to make up stories to present it

The Interlinear bible shows that Rev 7:15 uses "naō" for temple while Luke 1:9 uses "naon". The logic of the OP is flawed.

Oh, and the exchange never happened. As soon as someone refers any type of WT literature, JW's Apostate Alarm will go off.
