Looking forward what wt predicts for the end of the century for the memorial then, is even more senseless.

then there will be no memorial at all. imagine, full springtime moon, and no communal wine.that is senseless. because

Jesus died to buy back what was lost. life in paradise. at the future time, according to wt, we will have regained the paradise we lost. but

we will not honor, be reminded of the gift that made it possible. because

according to wt, the memorial is all about them, the wt elite, who are scheduled to be gone forever, out of this world, at the great tribulation.

no elite, no memorial according to their current light.

may be that current should be interrupted.

They want to waste everyone's time and bring them in to donate their spiritual energy to that waste of a thing called jesus, in order to help joke-hova to enslave the whole world.

    no elite, no memorial

“until he arrives”( to paraphrase the related verse) Obviously, the verse means that at some point it will stop so the interpretation is based on text not a wt dogma. In the meantime, how is the observation not based on scripture or inproper?

John 3:3, 5, and 7 are very important verses, if hypothetically speaking the Bible is true. JWs who want to be in the kingdom of God, even if as earthly subjects of the kingdom, should very carefully think about those verses. Those verses are saying that in order to enter into the kingdom of God people must become "born again" and/or "born from above" (the latter being an alternate translation) and be born from spirit.

By the way when the gospel of Matthew says the "kingdom of heaven" instead of the "kingdom of god" it isn't saying the kingdom is only in heaven. It is using a substitute word for "God" because that gospel book is written for a Jewish audience - including Jews were were cautious about often using even the title/name "God". The Gospel writer might also be saying "kingdom of heaven" to convey the idea that the kingdom receives its authority from heaven (that is, from God in heaven).

If JWs were to realize that the Christian Greek Scriptures is speaking to all Christians and all prospective Christians when it talks about being "born again"/"born from above", "born from spirit", being part of the new covenant, and being sons/daughters of God, then it would likely make reading the Christian Greek Scripture impart a much greater emotional impact to them. At least that perspective has such an effect upon me when I (despite being an atheist ex-JW) read it from that perspective while imagining that the Christian Greek Scriptures is true!

From the point of view of the NT being true, the WT is doing a tremendous disservice to JWs (and prospective JWs) when it teaches that only a literal 144,000 humans become part of the new covenant!

Fm: can you point to a text that would put the second Christ's arrival into the post Armageddon era? because it is then that the celebration s supposed to stop.

The wt "observation" is not based on scripture, because it is supposed to be not an observation, but a partaking of all present. Jesus being the exception, because as the only anointed present he technically did not drink during the last phase of the meal. so at the last supper all the earthly sheep eat and drank, but the anointed abstained .

wt has it the other way around, the anointed partake, but the "you will never die" crowd, the earthly sheep reject the ransom.

You can not get it more wrong than that. wt does the exact opposite of what happened originally.

Fisherman, there is something fishy with that. it is improper.

    it is improper.

All the jw do is celebrate the death of Jesus. That’s it. What is wrong with that? Some JW believe they are going to heaven others want to live on earth and believe that. At some point in the future as the scriptures say, the memorial will stop being celebrated. That is all there is too it.

fisherman : The wt celebration cancels the meaning of the death of jesus, wt is doing the ceremony wrongly. instead of letting the earthly class partake as jesus did, wt forbids that.

At some point in the future as the scriptures say, the memorial will stop being celebrated. That is all there is too it. fisherman:

At some point in the futuretime, the new covenant, for forgiveness of sins, will have run its course, mission accomplished.

No more worthy candidates will need redemption. How that fits into the the return of Jesus, his coming, his presence, waits to be seen, no wt speculation, new lights needed.

"That is all that there is too it"

fisherman, read the convoluted wt outline, the sudden jump, the disconnect from Forgiveness of sin for all, to to the little flock only. a celebration hijacked by wt to enslave jws for a thousand years,

that is all there is to it.

R&F JW's cannot partake of the emblems because they are not participants of the New Covenant, as shown by the type/antetype which says foreigners were not participants of the Law Covenant.

wt 98 2/1 p.19, par. 6 - "Further, other sheep lay hold of the new covenant just as foreigners of old laid hold of the Law covenant. In what way? Not by becoming participants in it but by submitting to the laws associated with it and benefiting from its arrangements."

Deuteronomy 29:10-15 destroys this JW dogma & its implications.

10 “All of you are stationed today before Jehovah your God, the heads of your tribes, your elders, your officers, every man of Israel,

11 your children, your wives, and your foreign resident who is in the midst of your camp, from the one gathering your wood to the one drawing your water.

12 You are here in order to enter into the covenant of Jehovah your God and his oath, which Jehovah your God is making with you today

13 in order that he may establish you today as his people and that he may be your God, just as he has promised you and just as he swore to your forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

14 "Now it is not with you alone that I am making this covenant and this oath,

15 but it is with those standing here with us today before Jehovah our God and with those who are not here with us today."

right, and Rev 7: 1-8 pulverizes it further, because the "others" so despised by wt, out of which the 1444 000 are sealed, are the specifically named 12 tribes of Israel, not foreigners at all.
