I thought about writing a book on how to leave too but then i didn't because you can sum it up in 19 words:
Stop attending meetings. Don't talk to elders. If they question you about religion say it's a personal matter. Repeat.
You only need to visit this forum and tell your story and we'll all advise on how to leave FOR FREE, but it's basically the above advice.
I don't mind his videos at all, i have no personal beef with him but this is just shameful.
What concerns me more is that an individual who exposes their story to him has given up their right to privacy. He will not only have information about a very intimate incident, he will also know their real life identity.

In fact BCG, case 29 of the ARC, was upset because he and covert fade wanted to write her story, she refused as she wanted to do her own. When she decided this John Cedars then attacked Alexandra James calling her a "regressive activist"( made up word imho), probably because she helped Bo Juel bring his book to fruition as editor. She obviously is a threat to him since she has a proven track record of helping abuse victims get their stories out.
BCG felt what he was doing was wrong and was concerned that his behaviour would make other victims more reluctant to come forward with their stories if there was a possibility that they could become victims all over again, albeit in a different way.
Alexandra James said her number one priority was to protect the victims in providing a forum in which they feel comfortable and argued with Cedars about this. She has my great respect, she shows such professionalism in both her writing and sensitiveness towards victims.
He makes up his own standards of activism. First there's aggressive activism, then there's regressive activism and none of those are substantiated, he does make it up.

You are so right, pale emperor. And that entire post could be your 300 words or less. If I were you, I would send my $150 to Lloyd and have that printed.
Lloyd Evans would be more tolerable if he just sat still on his seat when he's talking to the camera. Currently, he moves around a lot and its worse than distracting. I don't know whether he suffers from the old ailment, "nervous energy"? However, if he is trying to emulate the more polished youtube video presenters, a major advance would be his learning to sit calmly with perhaps more strategic use of movement. Bouncing represents the opposite of composure.
I will submit this advice plus coaching to Mr Evans for a total of $150.00. Then if I feel inclined to take up his offer to squeeze the essence of "my escape" from JW organization into 300 words, "I'll say, 'Lloyd, we're even. No payement needed by either of us."

This book thing is very valid criticism and I disagree with what he is doing, especially with the $150 thing.
However, the above is a scurrilous accusation from his rabid detractors who often state hearsay without real evidence. Like Tony Tightpants, it makes me wonder if the accusers protest too much.
The scary thing is any third hand anonymous person can make an accusation without evidence. Today unfounded accusations may be about Cedars, tomorrow it may be me or you.
Cedars was involved with cyber sex. How old the girls were, he doesn't say.
Londo 111: Cedars admits the cybersex, the age of the girls is what needs corroboration. I have good reasons to ask this question and remember he has become a public figure subject to scrutiny.
