Kind of a sweet deal for the JW's though....they can get their time in without having to go from door to door or stand by a cart and they make a little money, to boot.

I don't think they'd allow my male partner and me to stay in the first place.
Maybe you could show up innocently being brothers....or old high school friends....and then keep them awake all night worrying about what kind of immorality is taking place in their B&B.

Well said problemaddict2!
Turn the tables on them by that wise line of comments!
Love it!

That's completely inappropriate. We stayed at a B&B in Utah and it was obvious the couple running the place were staunch Mormons but they never put their religious beliefs in our face like that.
It's just the narcissist JW mindset. They believe they're right, the best, the chosen, therefore showing wordlies more than basic respect is beneath them. I remember feeling that way myself, years ago. I still cringe at the memory.

Cold Steel - "...outraged that our hosts would use their place of business as a launching point to do missionary work..."
...said the Mormon, without a trace of irony. :smirk:

I would have said "oh yeah i used to be a Jehovah's Witness. Im an apostate now". That would be the end of that conversation im sure.
Personally, i cant wait for my first JW door knocker or street dealer. I have a pletherer of topics to bring up.

I heard this from someone else...
Innocently talk about being a medium.
Talk about their beautiful spiritual Aura.
Ask to hold their hands and pretend to read their palms.
I imagine they will leave you be and wake up next morning with a neck ache from the bible they placed under their pillow.

My response would be:
"Tell me more about that generation of 1914 thing."

@eva luna, love it, that would scare them to death!
@OneGen, good question. They started the preaching, after all.
If you're at a B&B you are there to relax. No preaching should be allowed. A terrible review on any website is in order, it's just common sense.
BUT - so many JWs have no real business sense, this would be a surprise. They might not even know to read their reviews. But I agree, totally inappropriate in this setting.

You should have told them you're an apostate and they'd have left you alone....maybe even given your filthy apostate money back.
