LongHairGal, couldn't have said it better myself.
Thanks porno. I appreciate you cannot be too specific.
Ps. It's pomo. Stupid autocorrect ; -)
I don't know what the statistics would be, or how to find out, but my whole family left once we all realized no one wanted the religion any more. Woohoo!!!!
As internet savvy increases among the rank and file I think we should reasonably see more and more whole families leaving the mind control cult.
My wife, mother, father (was studying after my mother had been a JW for 40 years) and myself basically all walked away at the same time.
I woke up while I was an elder and waited... waited... several years until my wife woke up, my parents followed soon after.
It gave me ulcers, but it was worth it!
That was about six years ago btw.
I know of 4 families including mine.
This is certainly good news of families being released from bondage and chains. Thanks for sharing info.
I know of a young family in a nearby hall that I believe deliberately went inactive about five years ago.
Her father was a P.O./COBE. His family had a COBE and Secretary as father and Uncle. He was an MS. They had small children and about five years ago one of the P.O.'s has a falling out with his body and comes off the body.
The married daughter sided with her Dad.
About a year later the ex PO dad, his wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandkids have "gone inactive." Successful fade - and I hear the kids were soon involved in school activities including Xmas etc.
Yay!
