I’m going to mention this DO by name, as he is an internationally, infamous, arse. Hans Hubler was such a narcissistic Nazi, it leaves me scratching my head why WT put up with his antics for so long. He upset so many people that (according to unofficial sources) they ended up moving him from country X to the pacific island area. It was there where he overstepped the mark and WT stepped in and removed him.

Sure there were a couple notable hypocrite elders in my old Hall, who drove in brand new Cadillacs or Mercedes, wore the most expensive suits and looked the rich atypical.
The way it was in that Hall was that your personal wealth made you automatically into a posed elevated member in apposed to a poorer person.
Put in some mega dollars into the contribution box and wallah your among the truly righteous.

Plenty of elders with questionable morals, one was an affair with a sister he used to pick up for witnessing. Another I know was soliciting prostitutes. A lot of alcoholics.
But the one that annoyed me the most was a stand- in C. O., who had a successful career as an architect, giving the Sunday talk on how wrong higher education is. I was ust shaking my head through the whole thing.

How many young people in the audience were influenced to pursue poverty listening to his hypocritical garbage? Hopefully this wasn’t too long ago and anybody who made the mistake of acting on this nonsense can rectify their error. Pity if this was many years ago and such people reached retirement age with little or no preparation. Somebody like this deserves to have needy people who listened to his advice on his doorstep asking for help.
I cannot stress enough that I despise these hypocritical JWs with cushy lives who preached poverty to ME. They tried to interfere and ruin my life back when I was younger. I can get down on my hands and knees in thankfulness that I NEVER listened to this nonsense or I would not be Retired today!

Yes, plenty. Most of them.
One in particular stands out though - Marc Cora made a video about it. An elder throws congregation member under the bus by betraying them big time. The elder who did the betrayal was from my old cong and he had been horrible to a number of us.
He left our congregation and a bro wrote to the new cong saying this man should never be appointed as an elder ever again and explained what had happened in our cong. But it all got overruled by London Bethel.

I once met a CO in a porn parlor. Saved by 2 witness rule and he would have to explain.
Had a bro come by to visit and work on a mutial project. he promptly started passing a bottle around the circle (I dont share drool). Mentioned it to a elder and found out there akready was a drunkenness problem. So the guy moved 60 miles and and became an elder.

The term 'Elder' just gives them validation that they're in the correct religion. It's all arbitrary nonsense. The whole thing is a fiction made up by deluded mental cases.
I was a good Elder though. I wasn't liked because I wanted to actually help the 'flock' despite the real need for money over love. I was naive beyond words.
I wouldn't piss in a Governing body's ear if their brain was on fire. I learned too late.

The day of my public talk I had a nice rendezvous 2 hours before going up on stage. ;). Good times.
