I love these birds. I used to see them all over Florida when I lived there.
Thanks for link JWB! Love these and hope to catch a glimpse of the parents. They must be in close proximity watching over/guarding those eggs?! Someone here posted an Eagle's nest few yrs. ago and I had half the city glued to the net.
Great link.
Yayy! I've visited the loch several times - I have in-laws up in Nethy Bridge, near Loch Garten.
The Cairngorms NP is a beautiful place.
These organizations of donors and volunteers are to be commended for their commitment, time and resources in the preservation of these species -- unreal!
LUHE - beautiful, less is more, photo. Incredible complementary color of trees in reflection (orange in tree top) and the soft flurry of color at the bottom edge. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. Very lovely.
Beautiful birds. Thanks for the link. We were watching Ospreys at Kielder reservoir a few weeks ago. They have three nesting pairs this year that all have eggs.
They are amazing raptors and exist on every continent except Antarctica.
Tom and Audrey, the local osprey pair, have come back to the same nesting platform as last year.
After an unfortunate incident with crows, all eggs were lost last year. This year, however, 2 eggs were viable and one has hatched!
I hope this link works.

GT - thanks -- she's feeding the babies.
