rulehayl,

A man with an experience is not at the mercy of a man with an opinion. Piss off rulehayl. You speak of that which you do not know. Happy culting. You get what you deserve.
I have read JWFacts and whatever other websites - I will admit I have been shaken a tad by it, but then realise, at the end of the day - most people who are Disfellowshipped have themselves to blame
So you were shaken, then you rationalised it and decided people who no longer believe after being raised in this religion deserve to be shunned even though they lose their entire family. You think only people who disobey the rules get disfellowshipped? Anyone who questions the beliefs gets disfellowshipped.
You will make a great J.W. - Annon
While I initially took her at her word that she is a fairly new study, from her last few comments, I suspect she has been associated with JWs or has been a JW for numerous years.
JWs often begin posting here while claiming they are not JWs. Their attitude and word choices eventually reveal who they really are, some more quickly than others.
I got that impression as well Incognito, her language was too loaded with jw speak to be just an interested person, but still lets hope she took in some of the advice.
rulehayl,
A lot of us don't fall into the 'hater' category. My overall experience of over 30 years as a JW was very positive. But, it wasn't 'the truth'. If you can live with yourself knowing that, have at it.
rulehayl ...
Your first post was about your study conductor saying you were on a slippery slope by your associating with your workmates. Ask her how what she says fits with these two verses.
Romans 14 v 5,6 and Colossians 2 v 16
If she has to give convoluted replies that don't seem to make sense that might give you pause for thought.
There is no rush for you to decide to be baptised or not; (after all you wouldn't want to follow those who say that Armageddon is near, would you? Luke 21 v 8)
In fact if you take a while (say a couple of years rather than the expected few months or so) you will see whether the response from your study conductor is loving kind and patient (1 Cor 13 v 4) or exasperated and impatient.
you do realize the entire religion is a belief that Jesus only died for anointed Christians who are solely represented by seven men in New York City. though your works and obidence to seven men in New York, that is your salvation.
basically the entire new testament isn't for you. just to be clear
If you know about the history of doctrinal flip flops, the altered new world translation and what real bible scholars think about new world translation you don't need to worry about your relationship with God.
you don't have one.
you are just a lonely idiot in a club.
Well that was fun.
Rulehayl I have actually religion-shopped through other forms of Christianity, but they don't do it for me. The only other people to come close are the Mormons.
I do worry about someone who finds the two most appealing religions the two largest cults.
I don't think this lady will come back as I believe she thought we were active dubs.
I can understand someone being defensive if she is a loyal type but it doesn't mean some of the things she learnt here didn't sink in. Some people just take longer to process stuff.
Doesn't her name make you think of Rue-Paul??!!!
