Then add in the paper, envelopes and postage involved in the Russian 'letter writing campaign' that back fired....
How much paper has the WT used to print its publications?

Quite a waste of paper, but in comparison with others, it's pretty much average (IMO, don't have the numbers to back that up).

They promoted the idea that all this printing was an indication that these were the most widely read magazines in the world. The reality was that they perpetrated the greatest "channel stuffing" scheme in history. Most of these magazines ended up in unused "stacks" in publisher's home. Those few magazines that ended up in the homes of people were never read. I am sure that most of the r&f never read the magazines.

To me, the real tragedy of this whole situation is the waste of time, time that was volunteered by young men and women who thought they were doing something important to save mankind. At least 50%, and maybe more, of the bullsh*t printed in both the watchtower and awake is crap that the wtbts no longer teaches and has shelved as 'old lite'.
So many cases of young people that have left bethel very disillusioned because of the things that they "witnessed" during their time there. Just the sheer volume of time, energy, and resources that were wasted as false prophecies were printed and published by the charlatan wtbts. Too bad!
just saying!
