I had forgotten that this song was something that I really felt towards the jws until this last week or so. Ive been listening to it a lot this week. Super personal to me.

Before she was really popular. I didnt like the super mainstream stuff she put out simply because she seemed to lose a bit the unique edge she had.

The following album's pretty interesting and has some good songs. It's the result of a collaboration between Damon Albarn (lead singer of Blur) and Mali musicians, done in 2002.
My fav track is 'Nabintou Diakite' @13 mins 19 secs. It's just a woman singing, accompanied by a guitar. She's singing in an African language so I don't know what she's singing about. I just know I like the raw vocal and simple sound.

Music from Yanni. A couple of CDs/DVDs of his concerts, from recent years. . One CD/DVD combo is his concert in El Morro, Puerto Rico. Another is his concert in Egypt, right near the Pyramids. Very enjoyable music from that man.
