I liken the heads of the Watchtower Corporation to used car salesmen, complete with suits and warming honest sincere smiles with their ever appealing and alluring proclamations .
The WTS proliferated its literature by exploiting human ignorance, fears and people's insecurities as well exploiting the present belief in the bible itself.

Even Russell thought he had a captive audience back in the late 1800's, all he had to do was advertise a special talk in a Hall or community center then hold up a bible in his hands and start rambling how Christ had returned.

As soon as you quote Scriptures from the bible, you can exploit the believability that the general public has of the bible.

Hi LevelThePlayingField. Good to see you to. Thank you for those kind words. Awesome that you are fully awake! Yes the Royal Commission was very good timing for our exit too. I used a couple of quotes from what Geoff Jackson said there to put my parents and an elder in a catch 22 situation which made them leave us alone and just let us be.
We've been so busy these last few months getting our life on track I haven't had a chance to come here too often. I will update my leaving thread in a day or two so you can see what progress we've made.
