Evaluating the problem of sexual abuse of children within the JW religion, why, how and for what reason

  This topic has come up many times before on this forum and others but I think its worthy to reevaluate where and how this problem exists from an analytical perspective within the JW religion.
  

  It is obvious that the WTS has been covering up situations of child sexual abuse with careless irresponsible apathy for decades toward both possible victims and potentially identified perpetrators of this socially repugnant crime.
  

  Following guidelines as written in the bible which were emulated and exploited as a self protecting guideline to protect the outward image of the organization overall in spite of known acknowledgement that pedophilia is a serious crime in most countries.
  

  This is a good video which goes into explaining what the WTS has been doing and why this organization is now being accused of irresponsible careless behavior in dealing with situations of pedophilia within its own organization..

  There is always a controlled ongoing cover up of socially inappropriate actions by the people who are within the JW religion, if it isn't about doctrines, its about its behavior on addressing vitally important issues pertaining and relating to its members.
  

  You should always keep in mind that this organization is constructed to create a clean trustful spiritual paradise , wholesome and true unlike other Christian based faith or other religion in the world.

  This supported underlining agenda results in everyone participating within the organization to show faithful loyalty even right in front of obvious perilous irresponsible actions and operations built into the organization by its key operative leaders.
  

  We are righteous, we are part of God's righteous organization, gets held up and proudly waved about as a self promoting proclamation for the outside world to see and witness . the perceived image of the organization is enforcely protected by all, to not do so shows spiritual weakness onto individuals themslves who don't.

  Since they believe they are God's Chosen, this elevates them above everyone else. They cannot allow anyone to know there are issues. There is a facade to maintain of being 'the happiest people on Earth'. But when the issues become public, the questioning arises as to how God could possibly give a group like this his favour. They have to maintain the delusion of superiority or they are just like every other religion and have no basis to claim they are the one true religion.
  

  A 'perfect storm of conditions' exists within the Jehovah's Witness religion which allows sexual abuse of children to continually occur. These are:

  1) Repressive norms about masturbation and pre-marital sex.
  2) Patriarchy ideals.
  3) Barriers to women's equality.
  4) Erosion of social networks (Isolation).
  5) Social powerlessness of children.
  6) Weak criminal sanctions.
  7) Strong ideology of family sanctity.

  If something is not done about this, it will repeatedly happen. They are not going to give up their self-righteous deluded authority.

  Yes totally agree Heaven , this deluded authority is indoctrinated into every person who gets engaged into this Cult of Delusion. which is in reality a detrimental folly to themselves in the long run.

  The pressing imposition of fear and guilt to do so is the core catalysis to why its promoted and continuously persists.

  Jehovah's will, Jehovah's direction, Jehovah's choice and the constant reminder that Jehovah is watching your on going loyalty to his earthly organization and you will be evaluated soon upon your personal loyalty.

  What I believe is that, first and foremost, the culture of LACK of personal boundaries is at the root of this problem, whether it occurs in the Witness religion OR elsewhere. It is the perfect recipe for every kind of trouble.

  People let their guard down and their sensibilities get eroded a little at a time. They ignore their God-given instincts of danger, etc....which leads to trust (and ignoring your instincts about that certain brother). It also leads to too much "togetherness" which is NO good and letting your underage child spend time over people's houses where you have NO idea what is going on...but you "trust" them just BECAUSE...(big freakin' mistake!!)

  Everything all the other posters have said is true: and there certainly IS the "perfect storm" for child molestation and every other evil under the sun to occur in the Witness religion or any other high-control group!

  It would appear that certain individuals have exploited this pretentious veil of righteousness which exists within every Jw congregation to their own means, as well the preconceived acknowledgement to how the rules and regulations are enforced by the elders through the direction of the JW leadership..

  I hope in the near future that all governments instill their own rules and regulations to enforced every religoius institution to come forward with any possible instances of sexual abuse of children within their organizations.

  That would be the safest and most appropriate way to approach this matter, to strengthen the protection of children wherever they may be in accompanying social environments.

  But why are they covering it up? why will they not hand over those names to appropriate authorities? What is it they have to lose by giving them over? that's the bit I cant get my head around. Look the way I see it is that if the governments suddenly asked for all the homosexual (who we know after listening to A Morris comments would be D) they would have no problem handing them over, or what about druggies or adulteries. If you look at every other perceived indiscretion there is no secrecy. I mean everyone knows who screwed who, who smoked a fag, who watched a porn sooner or later everyone knows but not child molesting WHY? WHY? WHY?. They are hiding something else here. One of three possibilities 1) They just are so f...king righteous that they don't believe they have to answer to anyone, not even Jesus as far as I see, & they can say say how the governments are turning on us, the end is nigh. 2) The list is made up mostly of high ranking JWs, or related to high ranking jw's, cause if it was made up of the so called spiritually weak they would gladly throw them in the pit. or 3) They are part of a world wide Pedo ring. Seriously there is something being missed, something lying under the surface that is more sinister than we know. How can there not be.
