Meh, they have no business using "the name" anyway. It isn't supposed to be used. Where does Jesus use it? Nowhere. Besides, Christians aren't 'witnesses' of Jehovah, they are supposed to be witnesses of Christ. Such numbnutz.
As for hiding, BS, the KJV had it long before Russell existed.

The claim by the WTS recently is that how one pronounces the name of god is irrelevant. Its not important how you pronounce the name in your inherent language but how you worship him that is important. Of course the GB members proclaim to be chosen by him exclusively with his holy spirit and power . ........ awww there's always a catch.

It is said to mean ________ is judge.
Now look at what part of the name that contains the meaning ‘judge’

Is it:
1) YHVH/JHVH
2) YEHO/JEHO
3) LORD
4) YEHOVAH/JEHOVAH

Anyone honestly answering would have said #2 based on using just the part that was left.
Now look at this name again:

The first part (In Hebrew from right to left) is what makes up the YEHO/JEHO and the rest is what makes up shaphat and actually what you are seeing there in Hebrew is really YHSHPHT/JHSHPHT and the vowels E O A are added in and yet no one has an issue with that.
Now in the following we have the same first part (from right to left):
יהוה YHVH/JHVH
The other part would be the YHVH/JHVH
Using the same vowels (E O A) that make up Yehoshaphat (Jehoshaphat) and inserting them in the יהוה YHVH/JHVH we have YEHOVAH/JEHOVAH
Note- the underlined here is accepted as already pointed out in the name Yehoshaphat (Jehoshaphat). -
