  The Great Crowd of Other Sheep Witnesses allegedly first began forming early on in the 20th century. Rutherford was totally unaware of this crowds existence until 1935. It was revealed to him in 1932 that the Great Crowd members were heaven-bound. Then light flashed from heaven in 1935 showing that this group was an earthly class. At a convention in Washington DC in 1935 he pointed to his cheering audience when he proclaimed, "Behold the Great Crowd".

  "Jehovah's Witnesses themselves set the conditions through with the doctrine would stand or fall.

  To wit:

  "Especially beginning in 1935, when the identity of the "great multitude" or "great crowd" was clearly understood, large numbers of these began to manifest themselves. At first there were hundreds, then thousands, later hundreds of thousands, and now there are millions spread around the Globe. Gods infallible Word depicts this group as 'coming out of the great tribulation,' being survivors of it, living right on into God's New Order without ever having to die (Revelation 7:9,10,14; John 11:26) The early members of this group are now in their 60's or 70's or older. Jehovah did not allow the ingathering of this group to begin too soon. The "great crowd" including many of the earliest members thereof, will survive into the "new earth." (Survival Into a New Earth p. 185 )

  Let's say generously that the average age of those conventioneers was 25...and the youngest was 15. The youngest person in that crowd would be 100 years old today. I doubt many of those earliest members are alive today. I wonder if any are.

  1918 -2020 : 102 years of investigative judgement of the great crowd. Note 1918 christ finally occupied his throne.

  That's because 1874 and 1914 was a theological fraud created mostly to attract attention to the literature the WTS published.

  Strange is it not that Jehovah god would choose corrupt apostate false prophets as his chosen organization here on earth ???
  

  Loyal followers of these men (JWS) are just sharing the sins of what these men have committed. The gospel of what these men perpetrated for over century was really a tainted preaching of the Gospel of Jesus.

  Mayby that's why most christian based faiths never pointed out a certain time of Christ's return and date setting as the WTS did ?

  They had respect to Jesus and his words that no one knows not even he and not to try and set a time on god's own sacred time ???

  It raises an interesting question:

  Since it is the alleged proximity of the end that makes the identification of the great crowd possible, then why were they identified in 1935?

  A JW can't simply say it was, "Jehovah's due time" or something to that effect, as that would mean that Jehovah himself doesn't know when the end is.

  According to my rusty memory, the Book of Revelations says that the 144,000 are on earth -- that's why they need to be protected -- while the Great Crowd is before the throne (up in the sky?)

  Such a conundrum...perhaps the judge figured that since he was heaven bound he'd need earthly subjects, hence the new light. In any event millions then living have now died. .......so my erudite conclusion is that the judge misinterpreted....

  Sealing of 144000 = future event (Rev. 6:15-7:3)

  Great crowd coming out of the tribulation = future event (Rev. 7:9, 14)

  According to John, the sealing of the 144000 will take place after the breaking of the sixth seal (Rev. 6:12-14). Great crowd is obviously a future occurrence or have I missed something?

  Yes, the Watch Tower Society's version of the "great crowd" and the "144,000" is completely backwards.

  The great crowd does not exist yet. They cry "---salvation we owe to ---- the lamb'--"that will not happen for them, according to wtBtS, inc, well "-after the 1000 years have ended--" the final test. and

  It is one thing to cry about salvation, another to actually feed your mouth with bread and wine to actually do something about "saving yourself". John 6. .
