Have a great Christmas. If you avoid the commercial excesses it's a wonderful holiday. Family, food, drink, gifts, games, TV, music, walks, log fire & falling asleep on the couch.

Holy crap
I am cat sitting for my brother and the furnace failed last night
Minus 31 Celsius with wind chill of minus 45 C
12 hours without heat
Got the furnace going now. Had to get a guy to crawl up on the roof and knock the ice off the furnace vents
The house was at 1.5 degrees by the time I got the furnace up and running
Sitting at 8 now and slowly rising
Kitchen pipes are frozen
Damn it is cold
Stupid cats want to go outside. Yeah right

Merry Christmas to all and especially those ex-JWs here who celebrated it for the first time.
To me, it's all about being with loved ones and friends. I ignore the commercial aspect if it. In my case, since I was raised Catholic I'm sentimental about babes in mangers because I saw that in my childhood. I also love artwork depicting Christmas by Renaissance artists.
